◆ About ◆
Twice a week. Written by a person who actually builds with this stuff.
Why this exists
AI moves fast. Most coverage makes it worse. Breathless announcements, recycled press releases, tools that disappear in a month.
The AI Output cuts through that. Every Tuesday and Thursday, you get the 3 to 4 stories that actually matter, a reality check on the biggest hype of the week, a tool worth trying, a workflow that saves you time, and the one demo that will make you rethink what's possible.
No jargon without explanation. No hype without a reality check. No filler.
Two emails a week. Ten minutes each. You will walk into any meeting sounding like you know exactly what is going on. Because you do.
About the author
I build with AI every day. ChatBotHouse is my chatbot studio. I also run AI Audits, where I work with companies who want a clear, honest read on where AI fits in their business.
Before that, I spent 15+ years shipping digital products. I have been the technical co-founder, the consultant brought in to fix the pipeline, the product person trying to ship a feature, and the agency owner trying to keep five clients happy at once. I know what these conversations look like from every side of the table.
I read everything so you do not have to, then tell you what is real and what is noise. The newsletter is the version of my own weekly briefing that I used to send to a private group of friends.
If you want to talk about what AI can do for your business, the best way to reach me is through ricardosousa.me.
The promise
Three things I will not do, ever.
No jargon without explanation. If a sentence assumes you know what RAG is, the next sentence tells you. The newsletter works for the executive who has not used ChatGPT and the engineer who ships against the API daily.
No hype without a reality check. Every claim worth covering gets a "what is real, what is marketing, what we still do not know" treatment. Including claims I want to believe.
No filler. If a section does not have a useful angle, it does not run that week. Some editions are shorter than others. That is intentional.
